I have also tried many email providers, and among the best were yandex.com and gmx.com and maybe mail.com (which is owened by GMX from 2011). Yandex.com is very fast, even compared to gmail. I think it is much faster than gmail. Plus, it has a great design and very good spam filter. GMX is also good, but not as fast as yandex. GMX is a german email provider, very popular in Germany which have their services available in english language too, at gmx.com. Yandex is a russian email provider and search engine. Its english version is yandex.com

I am currently using my business e-mail from my websites. I also have gmail and yahoo, but it doesn't compare with outlook, much easier.

Have you tried Hot Mail? That's a pretty good e-mail platform.

Since you like Gmail 90% and Yahoo! 10% you should just combine them into Ghoo! to get 100%.

    Hi.
I always prefer Google because it is good to use and gives fair results. Main feature is that most of the traffic comes from Google only and if the traffic increased in Google then automatically it will increase in Yahoo and Bing.

I do always vote for Gmail and then Yahoo and then Hotmail.

I like the Gmail's features and potential and Yahoo's design and Hotmail Brand :p

all most yahoo, gmail, hotmail and other are better but main think is that which are comfortable for you.

If you've tried over a hundred and all have been lacking then maybe its time to invest some time or money into a venture to bring your vision for the perfect webmail client into reality.

    What specifically do they lack?

I cant fault google mail, i use it for work and we also use google docs and calendar so its only a click away, i always have it open in a browser i dont even find a need to link it up to outlook as the new interface is user friendly.

Clearly the OP is less impressed than you. Personally the only problem I have with gmail is only having one signature. I need more than one depending on which email address I am working on.

If he's tried over 100 don't you think Hotmail would be on that list?

I don't know anything better than Gmail. I'm very satisfied with Gmail, I especially like the Gmail Notifier that I'm using.

I feel like Gmail is the "least" of all the evils...occasionally it/they (Google) does something that irks me, but even then the other providers can't compete.

Let us know if you find something better than Gmail xD

Hotmail, just like most of Microsoft's "live" suite services, is experiencing a renaissance. Here's my set-up: I use Outlook with the Hotmail connector, and also use Outlook with my business email account hosted on my own domain. Then I tell Outlook to use Hotmail to store my data file (under account settings). That way my appointments and Outlook contact are synced with my Hotmail account and available from anywhere. An appointment added to Outlook appears in my Calender on my Windows phone. And that Hotmail online GUI is not bad at all for when you're without your phone or desktop computer.
