please tel me how to increase my forum site traffic i have created motorcycles forum and i need to increase my traffic so tel me what to, url www.yzf-forum.com please help me to increase forum traffic, thank you very much ,

 

What helped hugely with my forum was to create a dynamic XML feed using a server side scripting language (like PHP or ASP) for each forum. Then I use twitterfeed to auto post new threads to my twitter, fcebook, and linkedin accounts.

 

When I owned a forum a while back, I did this thing where I allowed people to post to get a G+ invite. They had to sign up then ask for it. Most people originally signed up to just get the invite but after that a lot of people stayed and became active members of the forum.

I advertised this promotion by using Yahoo! Answers and answering questions about G+.

Anyway it's hard to get new forum popular but still need to start somehow right? Don't wanna give up ,

It might help to hit similar forums and get to know those folks. Then get them to check out your forum and they'll inevitably bring along others. Takes a little while, but it's a way to get a solid following.

Join an active and big (member base) same niche forum, have your link (text or image) in your signature to your forum (if they allow this). This has worked for me.

 

Make sure that there is a way for people to invite their friends to your forum as well. Also check out the feature of publishing each post to facebook (DigitalPoint does this well).

 

Very tough to start from scratch without recruiting people.

 

To increase traffic on your forums you need right SEO and of-course advertisement, as well as increase the number of posts and articles on your forums. Right SEO would help your forums appear in Search Engines in top search results. So the public can find your forums very easily. You can use different social media platforms for advertisement purpose.

If you are posting more and more unique post in various instant link create forum may be you guys increase traffic.

 

Start a facebook page, and invite all your friends to the forum and its facebook page and also keep posting the best links of forum on your page. so more people will notice your forum.
