You can promote your website by finding high authority sites in your niche, searching if they have blogs, and leaving comments on them, ensure that the comments adds value or else they might be removed

According to me : As u have just created a new website so firstly u have to analyze about market and targeted audience then create online presence(like talk about ur product on relevant forums as a owner and then on social networking site). By this u will get ur initial traffic after this Start doing SEO. SEO will take time to give u conversion because it is a long term process and permanent process. Once u ranked with good keywords u will start getting good traffic and conversions. SMM is short-term process but at present it is good for u ...............hope this will help u !!! Good luck !!!

try linkreferral, if you don't have budget for seo/ppc. simply follow the steps and you can receive traffic and reviews to your website. Its a referral advertising network, so no need to pay for advertising/reviews. good luck :)

Good ideas to improve the likelihood of a sale, another simple method for eCommerce sites is to submit their stock to google shopping, thus when a search is made by a potential customer you are likely to be listed in a featured area. Word of Mouth / recommendation from other customer helps increase sales and credibility, this can be improved socially, try creating a facebook page, twitter account, digging you website etc to help increase traffic and sales. PPC (pay per click), ie adwords, yahoo and bing, would be ideal for a new website, targeting keywords related to potential customers, people will see both your adverts (and dependant on quality) will click through, continuing to purchase.

they use shops, seo, affiliates, etc. what do you think?

Try researching your content first... find your key words and search terms - you must target your audience and know what they want, if you are just randomly posting and putting in little to no research into your niches popular search terms - then you are wasting your time.

Ignore the dickheads that say shit like:

That's bullshit... work on your own site and create your own content... Google isn't interested in links back to your posts - Google wants fresh and unique content.

    Hi there!

SEO is a good way to promote your site. But, another way to promote your site is participate in as many forums as possible then create a link leading to your site or make use of it as a signature in the forums you are registered into. Blogging is also good, just make sure that your blogs are stories leading to your website. Or a more expensive way is paid ads through google adsense.

    Hope I've helped!

If you've done the SEO (on-page) then you can go with off-page seo methods like social bookmarking, guest blogging, article submission to the article directories, blog commenting, forum posting, web directory submission (in the appropriate category).
