How to add analytics tracking code to wordpress blog

    Can anybody suggest me how and where to add Google analytic tracking code in WordPress blogger. Please suggest me reasonable response i will be very thankful for this.

    there is plug-in called google analytics install the one and then paste the property code from google analytics profile and there you go . your analytics is runing

    As starsofsmile said, there are some plugins that let you do it, such as Google Analytics for Wordpress (Yoast).

    The other option is to edit your template. The most common way to do it is just to insert the analytics code, that Google provides, into the footer.

    Agree you can add the info/confirmation code at your HTML. or you can also use the widget for WP.

    Go to Appearance > Editor > select header.php > search for </head> and just paste your verification code before it .

    Friend i am using a free not a premium blog. There is no option of editor to go further. Please suggest me any other option.

    You can still use the editor on free themes, it's part of the basic Wordpress package. It's on the left hand side under Apperance.
