Hey, I have a website ring that has almost 6,000 members and over 3,000 members with the ring badge on their website. Supposedly, the ring page gets aprox 5,000,000 views in 2 weeks I have thought about selling the ring along with the website it is attached to but no one has shown any interest. this might sound stupid but I'm wondering how I can make some money off of this ring since it gets a lot of views? Thanks for your time i would appreciate ANY suggestions!
If you've got that many visitors and views, just add some ads or affilate links like Google Adsense or your own affilate links. And since you've got so many members, try offering them a service you know they'd enjoy or might like to try. Maybe not FORCE them to buy it, because that could push some away, but simply give them the choice and once they see how many are enjoying it, they'll all follow eventually.
well the problem is I'm not getting those views on my website, the views are on the webring page and that page wont allow clickable links. thanks for the advice!
No problem. So your website itself won't allow for ads or the page there viewing your website on won't allow ads? Sorry if I haven't helped much. I'm just kinda slow on understanding the situation fully.
Do some of the websites have page rank? Considering offering premium links for other to purchase from your pages with pagerank - You could get a nice monthly income doing that.
My website itself gets like no traffic at all (like 1 person a week!) so I know there is no hope for making money on my website. but the website ring has it's own website which I am able to edit and write messages on gets a lot of views however I can not place clickable links or anything like that on it.
Ahhh. Now I see. Well, you could try to offer something that people who would see the webring would like and try to refer them to it. Maybe make your website bigger and offer affiliate links there and try to convince people on the ring that they should go check your site out. Not link to it or anything, just refer them to it. It might take a while, but eventually you should get enough traffic from the ring that profiting with it will be possible.
