Difference between robots meta tag and robots.txt

    Hello friends

    How are you all? I hope you are fine

    I just want to know the difference between robots meta tags and robots.txt file. If we have robots meta tag in a website then is it necessary to put robots.txt file there. Please share your knowledge and experience here.

    The difference between robot.txt and robots meta tags is..

    robots.txt is at site/folder level while the robots meta directives are at page level.
