I want to start offering a service through via a blog and I'm thinking of using Paypal to take payments. Do you know of any common problems when doing this? Is there another method you would recommend?

Paypal would be the best option, but sometimes they randomly limit accounts and ask for provement to release the limit, to prevent any problem when your account got limited you should provide them with real info suchs as real credit card (don't use vcc to verify), same name with your bank account, real address.

Another alternate you can use alertpay, but not many clients i know have alertpay as payment options.

    Hope this help.

Why don't you just google "Paypal sucks" and get an idea of what is really going on?
