How much Directory submission is useful?

directory is very important you should complete it.because people will more learn about traffic.

 

directory submission is better for back-links to your sites and it is also helpful for create more and more traffic for ur website so,do more and more submissions for quality links..

 

I've been promoting a unique new directory submissions for the last several years , where we submit a site to 4-6 new web directories on a daily basis. I found this method still working for

(1) creating new links on a slow pace.
(2) helping site to index faster

As you submit more directories you will get batter traffic.

 

I have found submission to quality directories especially with deep links really helps SERPs.

Thanks for sharing the information. I have a doubt related to the do follow link. How can you know that a particular site is of do follow category?

 

View the html code, if there is nofollow, then it is no follow. else it is dofollow.

You can also check the links through dofollow link checker, I believe there is an add on available for Firefox; "Search Status" it will highlight the "nofollow" links. (http://www.quirk.biz/searchstatus/)

Another add on is "NoDofollow" (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/nodofollow/). When you want to find out if the site is dofollow or nofollow just right click the mouse and choose "NoDofollow". If you see the URL with the pink in the background then it is nofollow. If not, it is dofollow!
