Local listing is the result of your site's keywords on the local SEs.Means if you live in india you can see the results on google.co.in.

 

Local Listing displays results which are locally based. Take for example, you are based in Phoenix, Arizona region and are searching for the Local Plumber. You will simply log into Google.com and search "Plumber". Google will automatically detect your location and will display local plumbers who have registered on the Google Local Business or Google Places.

Local listing you can say it Google listing as well. It is a services provided by Google for listing a website locally for its business. For example website of limousine services in New york providing its services in the particular city and suburbs. If this website has local listing by its local address then people can easily find out the limousines for their traveling leisure.
