When your article is useful people keep on integrating it on there website which is than spread like a viral networking to all different websites creating back links to your website automatically.
Hey Man, Well I have couple of suggestions, First Of all write quality content ,embedding your keyword into the the text. I am not sure that this is correct however I see everyone recommend that you have quality backlinks and unique content which is a must but I would recommend that you check your onpage optimization like Page Speed, Yslow, first byte last byte speed. I have done all of this and got really nice page rank.
I will try to do my best to make ads at social networks and write valuble contents ,, but IF it's forums how can I upgrade the contents of it ?? is there anyone can help ?

do article and press release submission and generate traffic... you can promote your forum in groups, forum website, blog comment posting etc...
The only way to increase your PR is building dofollow backlink because only dofollow backlink will pass you the PR juice which helps on improving your PR
Hi If you want to increase the pr then you need to create the quality back links for your blog. Also go for some off page activities which will provide some help to increase the PR.
Agree with Karthik. The quality content must be promoted. Thats the way of getting PR. And the quality backlinks of related sites will speedup the process.
Unless you are able to link your forum to related site, til then will it get results into improving the PR. And getting PR isn't easy. It takes time. Having 2.5 weeks is not eve enough to get PR0 at all.
Gather more and more backlinks from high page rank sites than you will see increase in your page rank when search engine updates his page rank algorithm
To improve PR u need to update your forum with quality article, news, chat. when u get good backlink u will see that ur Forum PR is improving.
dooma, Just a warning - don't believe the guys who're saying that you need fresh, unique or quality content to increase PR. PR has nothing to do with content. Nothing! Even though good content can attract backlinks, it has no direct effect on PR at all, please, remember this. PR depends only on the number of backlinks you've got, and the PR of the websites they come from. Oh, and also on the number of outgoing links on those referring sites - that's it! Hence, to improve PR just do... link building. That simple. And, you may not see the results very soon for two reasons: reason 1 you don't have enough BLs to have any PR yet reason 2 the PR that you see in Google Toolbar is only updated about twice a year. The last update occurred several weeks ago. There is no other way to learn your current PR (unless you're a Google employee), which can be quite different from what you see in the Toolbar. Even backlink software doesn't show it.
