I just checked both domain names, and they both are parked pages on GoDaddy, with 0 PR. Where did you come up with PR4?

EDIT: My bad. With the www subdomain, I can see the PR4. Without the subdomain they are PR0. Simple matter of making sure that the new owner sets up their .htaccess file to rewrite with the www.

Not true. If you have a website, any website, and you can type in http://domain.ext and if it does not rewrite the name, then that is considered One site, and http://www.domain.ext is considered a second site. Often, the two sites will have different PR, as is the case here.

To avoid this problem, and duplicate content issues, you want to be sure to use a mod rewrite. In this case since the "www" version is higher PR, rewrite the non-subdomain version to go to the "www" version.
