Google Adwords Exam

i wanted to give Google Adwords Exam. which is the best way to go through that exams, do i need to clear all 4 exams.

 

For individual qualification you need to take :
the fundamentals exam
one of the three advanced

Just be aware the costs are hidden
In the UK taking these two exams will cost you £100

 

worthy price for professional certification

 

My main issue is the lack of transparency, the cost does not appear anywhere on the certification website (it appears on the exam website)
Equally, each exam costs from £50, so if you fail it could be extremely expensive

I was not able to find any sample exam, which most such certification authorities have and offer
It's great being able to study the material, but how do you know what the exam itself will be like...

most exams are questions with multple choices answers.

some have radio buttons to choose 1 answer, others have check boxes for you to choose multiple answers.

if you use adwords everyday then you will can answer most of the questions quite easily. else go through all material and study any problem areas.

Areas that get me are always the billing and conversion.

Google Engage (for Agencies) sometimes give vouchers so it doesn't cost you.

 

Just complained to google UK that I was charged £50.00 for each of two exams
I have revisited the latest page at it clearly shows USD50.00
They have agreed this was an error, will investigate the transaction and if appropriate refund the difference at the exchange rate which applied at the time

Two exams only costs $100, where is the sense in paying an additional $150?

 

Because it's difficult to pass exams with 1 or 2 times to do tests. Especially, you will lost a lot of time to research AdWords. We can help you save time and maybe money to pass these exams.

 

I took two of the exams recently
I would be rather disappointed to find you could simply pay someone $150 in order to pass, it devalues the Certification
The whole point is to study and pass

I spent about two weeks studying the minimum two exams and applying those to my AdWords account
I then made some changes based on that studying
Ironically, I didn't notice any change or improvement
However I did learn the difference between keywords (broad, etc) and Quality Score (which has to be activated in the column)

I have since read the other material, but see no benefit in taking those exams (for certificte purposes) other than it enhancing the service offered to customers
The main issue I have with the exams is the lack of a preliminary / sample
Luckily I had been using AdWords for several years so passed the two exams with ease and well within the time limit
However had I chosen some of the other exams I may not have passed these as I don't really use all the facilities / options available

 

Received my refund today, but they have been a little cheeky about it
They made the full refund for the 2 x £50.00 (instead of the £100 I had paid)
They then charged me for each $50.00 converted to £33.50 (thus charging £1.80 currency conversion per exam, instead of on the total)
They also did not refund any of the bank charges which I advised them of (as these would be duplicates), although I am in-profit by £31.08

 

M8INTERNET, I agree, it definitely de-values the certification if you can just get someone to pass it for you, however, it smells like a big scam to me. Surely Google can somehow link up the IP address you sign on with from the address given in your details? They have ways and means of finding this out, then they could retract your certification, which means you'll be $250 out of pocket - you would have had an opportunity to write 5 exams with that

 

Well worth doing and clients really buy into the qualification. Not easy and does need lots of research and learning, but google offer great resources for this. First time I did it I was a few percent off which is frustrating doing it again, but there has to be a pass mark obviously.
