How to improve SEO for Joomla 1.5 virtuemart 2.0 Product

I am trying to setup a website with Joomla1.5 and Virtuemart 2.0 and would like to know how to improve SEO for my products.

I wonder why you are still using Joomla 1.5 when 2.5 version is released and all the support of Joomla 1.5 is going to be discontinued in near future. I'd advice you to switch over to the latest version and yes, you can add SEO plugins like Easy front end SEO to make good on-page optimization.

 

I used 1.5 coz there was not much support as well as not all comp/mod/plugins are available/compatible for latest versions
does easy front end SEO works for Virtuemart??

 

For Virtuemart i would suggest Artio Joomsef SEO plugin, but you can also experiment with accordion menu, tabs.

 

Is Artio commercial or non commercial ?
