Instead of book you should try latest seo blogs by using any search engine.

Everything you will read in a 'seo' book you will find online, save yourself money and just start searching online for SEO and keep on reading. They are no secrets to SEO

I'm sorry to disappoint you but there is no such thing as a good SEO book. Why? Because the industry changes really quickly and the book is outdated in the moment of printing.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am not using internet blogs and sites, because the information in them is too random. In a book it's all described from the beginning to the end ordered by the time of use (the books begin with the planning and research and end with the after optimization care). I hope you understand what I mean.

yes,we know that seo is alive and change fast.
but it have some basic concept that can be learned and they don't change (or at least change rarely)
    -------------
you can start with "search engine optimization starter guide" by google
and after that "for dummies" is good one.

Rather than reading an SEOBook, I'd rather recommend you some to read the following SEO sites and blog:

    1. SEOmoz
    2. SEOBook
    3. Distilled.net

I also got a copy of this: it is good! Just go through it slowly. Do not drain your brain too much- it will get you information overload. Anyway, I also recommend this guide for beginners.
