I check them manually from Google. I don't use any tool to do this job.

I'm sure majesticseo and opensiteexplorer will probably give you more results but you have to pay for a subscription for majesticseo, you can only use opensiteexplorer 3 times and then, you guessed it, you have to pay for a subscription. Hadn't heard of push2check but having just used it, I can't see where you can actually see the backlinks, only the number and it uses majesticseo (which you need a subscription for) and Alexa (probably one of the worst backlink checkers) to show backlinks.

Backlinkswatch is not bad but doesn't show all links. However it is probably one of the better (free) checkers out there to give you an idea of your competitors backlinks. Using google search (link:url) is almost as bad as Alexa in terms of showing you the number of backlinks.

Another paid for solution you could try is seo spyglass. TBH if you want something that will give you a more accurate list then you will need to use a paid solution. Otherwise backlinkwatch and domain-pop are pretty good free options.

I forgot to mention that google webmaster tools is arguably the most accurate backlink checker but you have to be a verified webmaster to use it and it's extremely unlikely you will be able to get verified for a competitor's site.

Good idea, I'm given more advises to use backlinkwatch and majesticseo but I also found that I don't have enough backlinks, theremore I don't give anything about backlink cause of using free.
I feel to be dificult to find backlinks.
