Hi guys how long time Google Dance do ? I check my site jumps in serps around month and every day is in another place from second page to 20th page
Google dance can last anything from 4 days to several weeks. If you've had a spike in back links recently it depends how fast google indexes all these. Only then will your sure settle.
I wonder why webmasters use the term ‘Google dance’ rather casually...Since the introduction of "everflux" (ongoing "live" updates as we see nowadays), Google does not dance anymore... What you are experiencing are ‘fluctuations’. And although I’d say stability in rankings is difficult, jumping from 2 to 20 can still be avoided by rigorous and consistent on-page and off-page optimization.
I think you're quite optimistic calling these chaps webmasters. I think my cat is a better webmaster than some of people hanging around DP.
That was due to upcoming PageRank update. Google PageRank is just updated on 6th February 2012. Just checkout this story about 6th February 2012 PageRank update By-the-way my 15days old blog has been promoted from PR0 to PR2.
Your site jumping around a lot isn't always a 'normal' thing. Sometimes it's a sign that you need to further optimize your site and continue adding fresh content. Also, make sure every time you search with your keywords, you are doing the same search every time. If you use Google... make sure you are Signed OUT, make sure your selected location is your country (not your city), and after you see the SERPs pop up, click to the address bar, at the end of the URL string, and type '&pws=0' to turn off personal web search. Do this every time so your personal results are consistent.
Every new webmaster is bad webmaster but you learn learn and you start to be better and better. Nobody born good webmaster Good luck smarter webmaster
Amen to that LoL... It depends on many factors: A) How drunk he is - if he's slurring his words - then consider him drunk and he'll keep dancing until passed out - consumed to much alcohol. B) A Tango can last about 10 minutes - but that depends on his fitness level - and if he's been smoking cig's... C) Depends also on the woman he dances with - for instance if he's trying to score a root - and she's easy - he can be in and out of the dance routine within minutes. D) Of course like the tango above - it comes down to the length of the song - or dance routine. In reality: My site site fluctuates after every post, it can be based on your niche, the search volume, the popularity of the term, the amount of sites also posting about the subject matter... there's to many variables to be concerned about - in my case - if I have consistent traffic for the day and don't wish to disturb the traffic trend - then I will post when the site has a quiet moment and this is generally in the USA A.M (morning).
the dance is a little bit mythical and used by people not knowing what they are doing, or to explain failure to a client. the reality is that yes google includes age of a site in its ranking algorithm. But that may just keep you down for a few months. It should not make you wildly fluctuate. IF you put up plenty of unique, good and long articles on your site, and have genuine links back to your site, (ie not all from link farms) then google will raise you through the ranks, as long as you have more quality links being created faster than your competition. of course updates to their algorithm can make you jump down for a while, but its about consistency in your efforts. If you are an IM and doing 100 sites with automatic link posting software, you will be a lot more vulnerable to crashing from rankings. Its a long hard slog, but isnt any business that is worthwhile?
This is when Google updates its entire database of websites, which usually occurs at the end of each month. It is called a dance because there can be a dramatic shift in the rankings as Google updates some sites as being more relevant than others.
