I pick Platinum Seo Pack since the setting is far more easier than All in One Seo Pack.
From my experience using Several hosting, they also suggest to use Platinum Seo Pack than All in one Seo to reduce the server load...

I'm surprised people don't use WP Caching more, it reduces server load like you couldn't imagine, not having to reload everything dynamically all the time. AIOSEO is the go-to, and with reason, but since there is suggestion to use another system, might as well experiment. Whatever you do, stay away from No Hands SEO. Stay away. Stay away.

As per my suggestion, All in One Seo Plugin is best. I used same plugin in my all wp sites. It is working wonderful without any issue.

I like Platinum SEO better, too. All-in-one conflicted with a couple of other plugins I used at one time, so I've made the switch and just stick with PSEO now.

Of course, without the right site structure and keywords, neither plugin will work well for you.

I don't want to get off topic too much, but I want to share this as I think it will help:

I'm a big fan of the following structure now...

Main page is more of a portal page. Above the fold you've got your 3-4 choices for your visitors.

My own site has the main headline like so: "How can we help you?" and 2 options "I need an X" and "I need a Y." From there, my 2nd tier pages answer those questions with tier 3 pages getting into great detail. This has helped my rankings substantially.

I like Yoast WordPress SEO, and Easy WP SEO for on-page optimization. The combination has worked very well for me.

The best by far is Yoast Seo - this will help you massively. Ive tried so many plugins, but the Yoast has advanced features thats kicks ass. Letting you know how many times your chosen keyword term has been used in the url, meta, title etc...

The standard wordpress seo plugin is ok, but very manual and doesnt help point out keyword density etc

My favorite free plugin is all in one SEO, like others have stated. Forcontent optimization I like SEO pressor. It is 47 for a single site or 97 for multiple sites.

Yoast is the only one I have never had a problem with on all my sites. Others seem to work well but not with certain themes.
