You should make a list of requirements first in what you're looking for and then go through the features of the paltforms to see if they fit you're needs.
But there's a difference between the hosted solutions and the onces you can install yourself.
If you're planning to host your own site there are a few good ones:
    zencart
    oscommercemagento
But if you're planning to have it somewhere hosted, this relieves you from having to manage your own server:
    solidshops
    shopify
hope you find a good one

ZenCart is pretty good. if you need something a little more expansive you could try ProStores, Infopia or Channel Advisor

I would recommend nopCommerce, this is based on Microsoft hosting ie IIS, instead of PHP, it's also opensource, I can't place live links on the forum however if you Google nopCommerce I'm sure you will arrive on the right site.
They recently upgraded the system(complete re-write) and runs on the new MVC setup, it also supports SQL Compact(Express), meaning you do not require a db and hosting is much simpler.
The performance is excellent and stability very good, there are a lack of themes, if you make an effort you can make your own theme, hope this is helpful information.

I love Magento, it's a bit unforgiving on the novice but once you invest the time to learn what you are doing there are few solutions that can boast as many features or such a stable / well written package.

Of the three carts that you mentioned (CubeCart, OS Commerce and ZenCart) I've only used OS Commerce and ZenCart. I happen to prefer ZenCart. It's OS Commerce based, but as somebody else mentioned above, ZenCart has an easier admin panel to use compared to OS Commerce. ZenCart seems to be more user friendly overall.

We used to use Magento but now use OpenCart, it's far quicker than Magento and some great themes available that can be customised to how you want with css. They also support all the major payment gateways and have great options for shipping and lots of modules etc...

I'd suggest upgrading your fantastico (doesn't cost much) and installing prestashop.

Slick system, easy to use and looks the best in my opinion.

If we had to do it over again we'd be looking at Shopify or Magneto. They have a pretty large userbase, and I think overall they offer the most comprehensive product out of the box. Now that Magneto seems to have gotten their business and marketing plans together they seem to be progressing steadily forward.

OS commerce is good but it complicated to use , so it would be best for you to use zen cart . Or maybe you just use wordpress template with e-commerce plug in ...
