TheArtFactory for Indian Artists needs Review

TheArtFactory is a hub of artists. A factory wherein any sort of artist is welcomed to showcase his work while he appreciates the other members.
In other words, it can also be seen as a platform to collect recognition and encouragement on the art front. So lets get together and create our own creative space at theartfactory and live the arty way!

looking great i like your site. I think some elements you should improve for better performance. Like you first optimize your site images because the affect on site load in web. and update news stuff regularly for more traffic. overall excellent topic

Hi, thanks for the comment.
The main aim initially is not about monetizing the site. The first aim is to get a platform for all artists to showcase there work and get appreciation in way of comments. On later stages we might tie up with some art galleries or allied business for banner advertising and database driven activities.

 

Your website looks quite professional and impressive. There are two things that I would improve!
1) I can't see arrows that allow to change big image!
2) The size of drop down menu (categories) seems to me very big, may be you should make its padding shorter!

Design,concept, colors are cool I like them

two suggestions from my side if you can split your categories in 2-3 sections so people can view them easily without scrolling
& for your facebook page url use page username or something like

Facebook.com/theartfactory something.

We are working on reducing the padding between the category drop down menu so that its easy to browse.
As for the Facebook page link, we are still running short of fans Need atleast 20-25 fans so that we can set a username for the page. Would appreciate if you can like our fanpage and share / suggest to your friends who are interested in Art and Design.

Can you please take a print screen of the error or tell me the steps to reproduce the error. I will have a look at it immediately.

 

Its because you've hidden the admin login or used the plugin to do this, but didn't do a proper job. You get this when you're logged out and try to reach wp-admin

 

Yes a plugin is in place. But it seemed to be running fine. Glad you pointed out a weak point.
