I see no one has mentioned quality content. Also, give attractive headlines to your posts.

Depends how fast you want the traffic and how much money you have to spend.

If you have a marketing budget and if your product pays you well then definitely look at Facebook Pay Per Click or banner advertising.

If you don't have a marketing budget, then these are my top six low cost marketing strategies to use on a budget.

    1. Blogging
    2. Solo ads
    3. Video Marketing
    4. Facebook Fan Pages
    5. Podcasts
    6. Forum Marketing

These strategies are slow though (except for the solo ads) and will take time to see results.

    Good luck.

do search engine optimize (off-page, on-page), create quality original content which is relevant to your site's category. And if you have a budget for advertising then go with PPC advertising (pay per click) via Google or Facebook or any other ad networks.

For traffic, choose some long tail keywords and optimize your site under those keywords.Soon you will get targeted traffic when your site will be at top 10 for those keywords.

Best advice so far... but keep that quiet and let the fools above spam directories, forums, blogs, articles etc. They've been told a million times not to - but persist anyways... their loss and not ours.

Be careful doing this because it might land you site in the Google sandbox. Linkbuilding should be diverse and gradual.

It wont hurt your site, but it certainly help it... Google even says that the bulk amount of shit links will not hurt your site - because there's no way to prove it - without extensive research... But they also say that the links simply will be looked over and a waste of time... hence why artificial links = shit.
