Does anybody know which charities are the most efficient. i.e which have the best ratio of lives saved/changed to overhead and admin fees. I recommend Peter Singer's book 'The Life You Can Save,' it convinced me to start giving more.
I'm starting my own charity,I'll give you my paypal and you can put in all the $$$ you want.......thank you in advance! (pm me) P.S why stop there? You can give me the keys to your car and deed to your house too.
Sorry mate, this looks fake to me? Are you really going to give your income's 50% to charity? Unbelievable..............
It's better to spend the 50% directly to the social works (rather than giving to the charities). spending from you hands to protect/saving lives will be a heartful thing and gives you more satisfaction..
True about giving more satisfaction, but what do you mean 'directly to the social works'. giving money directly is not usually a very efficient way of helping people, and makes them dependent. good charities have usually developed much more effective ways of helping the local communities (i.e. building wells, giving micro loans, goats etc.)
You must be making a lot of money if you're able to donate 50% of your income to charity. What do you do?
whatever your reasons about it,, just moving forward and do what you're up to before... hope you can find your best place to giving your 50%
