    Your thread question and thread content are entirely different. IF you are searching for what is a broken link, then broken links are those links placed on your website which do not work properly due to some reasons such as typos or due to deletion. You can search for broken links by using the w3c validator, which is an online tool.

    I suggest Xenu's Link Sleuth link Analyzer, I've been using this for almost 3 years. you can download it for free this is one useful because even image link is also analyze.

    According to me you can easily find broken link with Link Checker.Use link checker to test your website to find and fix broken links before search engines find them.

    Broken link is that hyperlink which is not working , it could due to various reason such as the site url hyperlinked is having some error .....
