how can i boost my keywords?

Hello friends, I am working on i project but my keywords are not in SERP. Please suggest me more appropriate techniques for boosting my keywords.

Keyword ranking doesn't happen instant, needs lot of hard work and smart work especially the off page activities like directory submissions, social bookmarking, article submissions, press release, blog commenting and forum commenting.
