Download all the browsers and make sure your code doesn't mess up.

You should think about IE6 as some still use this.... (I don't know why)
as for the cross browser testing the only way to really do it is to download all the browsers.
You can always try browsershot.org but sometimes it looks different on there to on your actual browser

You can have several installations of windows for testing this. make a virtual machine for testing purposes.

ie6 has very low usage, you can safely ignore it.

    according to this site: http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_explorer.asp
1.6% is ie6 market share. I wouldn't bother with it.

Yes, we test all later versions of browsers -- but we've worried less about IE6 since Microsoft is discontinuing it:

lmao @ download all the browsers. Yeah dude, download every browser/build/version and cross compare XD or...Get an app to do it. If you have creative suite, i think dreamweaver does this?? It is interesting dealing in international markets, having to make sure your site can be seen and function even on IE4 (yeah dude, not even IE6....)

Professionals do this. You are not a professional.
You don't know and you're commenting on it? (That's both a question and a statement.)
You shouldn't be posting about things you know nothing about.

If every developer would ignore IE, people would quit using it and IE would die a peaceful death.

No real developer would ignore ie6, or any other browser version.
1.6% market share is big enough

I always care about ie 6, and 7 even if is not so much used.

    Cheers

If real developers would quit enabling IE, the market share for IE would drop to ZERO eventually. Oh what a relief that would be.

Real webpage developers develop industry standard code for browsers that comply with industry standards. Real developers ignore non-standard browsers knowing that non-standard browsers will eventually die off if no one codes for those non-standard browsers. If you are cobbling together code to force a non-standard browser to show your site, then you are wasting your time. Maybe you should consider getting a job that you are qualified to do.

BTW, you say that no real developer would ignore any other browser version. That is nonsense. I bet you don't test your code in Netscape or iCab. If you don't, then your statement is HYPOCRITICAL and you are a HYPOCRITE.
