The owner of this website tried really hard to hide the fact that his website is a wordpress-based one, but he couldn't do it sucessfully.
Check it here : http://www.sonicfoundry.com/wp-login.php This file exists, so it's undoubtedly WP based website. It is a custom-developped template, so you won't find its name.

And what do you care about that?? You want to rip others' templates??? Hire a designer and a coder, tell him to design a custom wordpress theme and to code it, that's all.

LOL... If you want to make a professional website, you have to have a unique template. Downloading and installing freebies is for noobs. Moreover, it's not that expansive, you can do it done for 30 to 40 bucks.

I think I'll agree with Toycel - this looks like a Drupal site. The path names you see are consistent with Drupal, as is the login access. I run a Drupal site, so I recognize it.

But don't take my word for it... look at the page source, find some path names, and Google them... For example, "leaf menu Drupal", "node Drupal", "sites/default/files Drupal" And... of course, if you check for the term "Drupal" in the source code, you'll see several mentions of it.

My guess is that this is either a custom theme, or one that's named "Sonic"

This site is completely consistent with a Drupal site.

No, it isn't. And I really can't understand how some people can be dumb.... LOL... It took 20 replies and 10 members. Imagine this situation :

I open a thread asking "which wordpress theme does this forum use", so you would all rush to reply it doesn't use one, rite? Well, good for you, I would count it as rising my post count. For some members on this website, everthing is "wordpress"... Stop using worpress will ya? I answered his question the way he won't get back on topic, and you guys just post up some really obvious stuff thinking it's serious, not to mention bumping the thread?

Now I figured out that guy "drhowarddrfine" ain't as dumb as I thought.... [IMG]

It is wordpress, which wordpress can pretty well manage any website that is content oriented. The CMS isn't what's important here and it isn't what gives it the feel that it has. It is the theme that it is using.

Designing and coding Wordpress themes is pretty easy if you know PHP already, but if not, you might just hire it out because you won't be able to really understand it very easily. At times it is best to spend your money in areas where you are weak and focus on your strengths, which by the sounds of it may not be the coding aspect of websites. Good luck! :)
