Yahoo decrease ever than before

Now these day yahoo lost his popularity as a search engine. In that time it's just use as a Directory. Are you think same ?

 

Yes i think the same. May be that is why it does not allow free lancers to come up.

 

I think, yahoo has lost its popularity and will be loosing it as much as google will be launching new projects. This is the main reason for the decrease.

 

Yahoo Search has always been a directory service. They were a directory-style search engine. Google and other searches that use search algorithms are the newer type. I think Yahoo has been losing to Google almost ever since Google existed.

 

Yahoo is certainly losing popularity. But, since it did merge with Bing in Nov. I am not sure that we can write Yahoo off quite yet. The merge indicates to me that they may try to revamp the engine and tailor its background workings more along the style of Google's engine.

 

Yahoo needs an epic browser to compete, like Google Chrome or IE, probably not gonna happen though. Yahoo toolbar just isn't cutting it

 

Yahoo needs a redesign on how it works.

Yeah, Now google is more popular in the world over yahoo for search engine. Its quite ok they focus on yahoo directory and that is completely good.

 

I think the reason why Google is more popular are the by-side services they offer. I don't know about a free hosting service at Yahoo, neither tools to analyze traffic to your site like Google Analytics, geographic tools like Google maps, Google streets, etc. The weapon Google has developed for the sake of its popularity is to share with users their statistics about use, traffic, top keywords, etc. and tools to use these information. I think Yahoo could do the same, or something alike. Yahoo should offer more services to its users. This is my personal point of view.

 

Yahoo is now using Bing for search results. No wonder Yahoo lost popularity as a search engine.

 

Its been a long time coming and Yahoo really needs to improve its services to gain popularity back.

 

Obviously it has less popularity and getting its popularity down day by day. Now the Yahoo Search algorithms has been merged into Bing and we should wait and see the result of the merge.

 

I totally agree that now Yahoo has almost lost its popularity as it has before..Google has overlap it and is also good and fast than it...It has vast content in detail..
