    you need to change the meta description for your forum.

    you can do that from
    admin cp > settings > general settings

    If you have changed the content in meta description tag, do not expect the change to reflect instantly.

    I believe, Google is randomly picking up description for the page (which is appearing in the search result).

    Google updates the meta tags within 15 days, wait for sometime.

    Try to ping your site after you change your meta tag , it will help you index your site faster and crawl again yoursite and know about your latest update.
    You can build link on high index site to help you or use ping system to help you ping your site.

    If your site is linked with Google Webmaster tool then you can Go Diagnostics => Fetch as Googlebot . It will help your site crawling fast in Google search engine.

    You can change your content by simply updating your page and waiting for the next Google Crawl, but be aware changing your content can affect your rankings

    Remove the content that you don't want to appear on your site. Then add an about us/me section somewhere on the page. Build a couple of backlinks, ping all of them, then ping your site.
