    Yeah, the amount of links and quality content do the trick, but it's really hard work to create quality content. So, you need either to roll up your sleeve and work real hard or (in case you got some extra funds) you can just hire a person who'll do it for you. There are lots of guys in the world that have the skills and need money (not big money actually). So, the choice is up to you.

    Plus, SEO gurus seems to agree that 2012 will bring more social network influence on site rankings, but it's still to be tested in the not-so-far future.

    You have to do some SEO:
    On site SEO: Find good and competitive keywords for you niche. Do that excercise every time you write a new article!
    Optimize you content, titles, headings, meta descriptions by using these keywords
    Off site SEO: Create backlinks to your site by posting your articles in Social Bookmarks, by posting comments in other blogs of the same niche, by posting posts in related to your niche forums
    There is a lot of work!
