OK, I may be stupid, so don't answer that one. Here is the "readers digest" version of what happened: Registered Domain February 2010 Launched site around March 1 2010 Traffic From "G" Increasing Weekly Averages 125 to 150 A Day May 15 To May 30 May 31 2010 Traffic Drops To About 20 Visits (see chart) Site Averages 10 Or Less Visits A Day From "G" Ever Since All Traffic From "G" Comes From Exact Match Domain Search I Copy And Paste URL's In Search And Get No Results On First Few Pages I Copy And Paste Paragraph From Articles And They Come Up As #1 Result Not In Top 1000 For Most Keywords/Phrases Behind Hundreds Of "Spam" Sites I Am Building Links I Am Adding Unique Content I Have No Duplicate Content Getting Rankings In Yahoo And Bing I Have Submitted For "Site Review" From "G" Twice, Received Response That It Was Processed Everything I find says that I have been "sandboxed" and that it should last no longer than 3 months. Any ideas or suggestions?
I personally believe that there is nothing like sandbox exist... at least not for me!! well its petty dangerous anyways... check your analytic code and try resubmitting it it usually happens that when we upload few pages we upload the previous version that does not contain GA code at the bottom of the page... also if you are not appearing the search result try build some quality like and do check your content qulity problems can be from your hosting of domain side may be a domain is not new and has been used previously in some black hat activity in short the possibilities are like too many try different and i ll gonna fix it if you ll gonna as k me i ll gonna say sandbox is nothing but to a myth to make ppl fool...
This is quite normal. When you launch a new website you get a honeymoon period and especially when you start building backlinks you will drop from search and believe me you will come back. It may take 2-3 months may be 6. But My recommendation is keep on building backlinks and adding fresh content. You will come back very strong. I have had quite a few experiences like yours.
As it was said before, it´s quite normal; and not only for new sites but also for established ones. My 8-old ecommerce site has also such fluctuations. The time when google provided a smooth stream of visits is over.
Yes you are in sand box. Google can not do such a thing if you have every thing good on your website. You need to change the content of your website and also place a blog and start adding content every day.
I think so too, something is wrong in your website or your method of link building is more of the black hat method.
Probably either start-up honeymoon is over or sandboxed - check your site with Google webmaster tools to see whether there is a problem. If there isn't, you should rebound after a while. DON'T submit again for G review again, give them some time.
it can be temporary google dance.just keep building good quality links and you may even come stronger.
