    Much like newspaper classifieds, its a form of advertising where small impressive ads placed on special classified – ad websites to grasp the attention of viewers.

    Posting the ads in the country specific classified sites would help us in driving targeted Geo-graphic traffic.

    i have also got backlinks from classified adverts. The only problem is I don't think they last very long as they are updated regularly.

    You can spam craiglist classifieds and make some good money. But for SEO purposes it isn't very powerful.
