    Hi Friends,

I have been working for a website where the urls are published without SEF and now changes are taking place. While we are making changes, we have to keep the article id (using joomla) i.e., number for getting the data online(compulsory for us). So we are unable to remove the article id but still we can place the title of the article in the url.

    For eg.

    xyzabchelp.com/article/518-title-of-article

    Is this ok?

or do I compulsorily remove the id too????

    Please advice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You should retain the articles ID as it serves as the reference number for that article and other articles as well.
