What's to stop this type of click fraud?

What's there to stop someone using 5 different anonymous proxies every day and clicking their adsense ads?
What's to stop someone using dial up connection with a dynamic IP to click on ads and then their broadband connection to check their account?

I'm about to try out adwords and similar places so I want to know what measures places take to stop them and if refunds are likely?
I decided to put this in the adsense part not the adwords part because it's really asking ABOUT adsense FOR adwords... (confusing, I know)

IP address still have geographical locations. Your proposed methods can still be flagged. Google has clever methods to detect it by properly profiling each clicker.

When you click an ad, you're sending WAY more than your IP address...

Google receives at least the following:

    IP address
    Operating System
    Browser / Browser Version
    Javascript Version
    Time spent on page
    Referral URL
    Monitor Resolution / Color Depth

    And WAY more.

Imagine, if you will, that someone logs into www.somedomain.com from a Windows XP machine with 1024x768/16bit using Firefox 1.5.13 and clicks an ad after watching the page for 2 seconds. No referrer!

Then, someone logs onto www.somedomain.com from a different IP address with 1024x768/16bit using Firefox 1.5.13 and clicks an ad after watching the page for 2 seconds, also no referrer.

Sounds like click fraud. Most people find my sites from Google or from other blogs -- Google can track these people through the adsense path and the referrer path. They're aware of who the fraudster clickers are pretty quickly.

This is just a little recap of their process. I don't want to give more away since then it will open the door for people to work around the anti-fraud system. Trust me, you can't beat it unless you spend a LOT more time, which makes the return on your time for the fake clicks worth very little (around $5 per hour, I believe).

Note: I hear this question over and over from people who say they want to try AdWords, but more often than not they really want to click their own ads to make a few pennies. Don't do it. AdWords is a PROVEN system for advertisers who want to convert their links to products bought. In terms of using it for AdSense arbitrage, the fall-out rate is high.

I have it works quite well. It doesn't detect all clicks but I don't think any of them do.

Google can ban you if you are getting more clicks from the city where you live, from the city where your cheque get encashed.

Google can ban you if in average you are earning $5 , one day your earning is $10

Google can ban whenever they like, even if some suspicion arises

Google can ban you whenever they want since 99.99% will not contest the ban in court

Not really, Astrophysics is simply the part of astronomy that deals principally with the physics of stars, stellar systems, and interstellar material! Duh!
