    Hi Facebook Users.

We had a debate about which was more relevant and I was of the opinion that quality was better than quantity. What is your opinion.

    Let me know.

It all depends what you are trying to achieve, if you are going to try and market to these people then quality is better. If you are only looking to gain reputation by just having a high number of likes then the 10k is obviously better.

So just work out what you aim is :)

An btw be careful because people selling low quality mass facebook likes could get your page banned so make sure to do a thorough check before buying :)

Sometimes Quantity brings quality. If I see an Fan Page with 100 likes, I am sure I will not click like button, but if I see 15K likes, than I know that My Like will not make a big weight so I will hit like if I really want to hear news from than Fan Page.

From last facebook changes, Likes somehow decreased because If you like an FanPage which have 200K active users and they post 20 posts per day they will flood your wall, so I always hit "don't show anymore" button..

They really fuckeed their design this time..

Could not agree more with you.

the problem is our clients don't always see it that way.

Quality over quantity. Always. I see the point in buying some feeder fans, say 100 or so, but more than that is just a waste (of useless bought fans).

I think 1000 quality likes will be beneficial because these are our targeting audience which will take more interest in the info which we will share to them.

I agree with the person who said it depends on what you are trying to achieve. Quality is good in terms of "followers" because it means your company has a genuine audience. Quantity is good because it can "legitimize" your company and people may feel like you have a good reputation.

Quality is better. The overall goal of Facebook is to bring customers to your site to sell them something. Quality fans will bring higher conversions on Facebook

quantity matters only if you know what demographic you're targeting (gamers, bloggers etc) but other than that i think you should rely on active likes which actually interact with the content you provide

So we all agree that Quality overrides quantity in most cases. So how do you achieve the best quality in quantity?

Targeting specific groups/niches i presume, but ofcourse everything is reliant on your standards of quality, you provide people with good content they'll stay there and gradually invite others but if you want that process to go faster you fool them by big numbers :) peer pressure always works

to put it simply just buy yourself a couple of likes to gain online authority and after that it all depends on the quality of the content you put out

10, 000 quantity likes. People are generally more inclined to join a large page than a small page.

Quality for sure is better but if the quantity is that large. It is worth to consider it.

So the verdict is that it depends what you need it for. there is a market for both, quantity and quality.

Make an analysis of what you need and target it. The secret is to do research on clients needs and only then you will know what you must target.

It really depends on your page, but I guess quality and quantity makes sense as long as you have interaction on your wall.
