Contest Logo Creation With Mascot - $30

Hi all,

Well i have been working on a site that i want to change the look of and so i need a logo to be created in order to make the first step, so here i am offering you guys the chance to earn some cash!

I need a new logo that will be placed onto the poker related site at www.pokerbonuscodes.org.uk and the general colour of the site (as you will see when you go to it) is blue and so i will be looking for the wording of the logo to use maybe 2/3 shades of blue but i'm sure you guys will know what i mean.

I have drawn up a mascot that MUST be included into the logo as this will be the character face that will be brought into the design as the progression of development happens, so if i can find someone that can actually create him from the drawing that i have, there should well be more work on the cards for them as things begin to move forward.



Above is the mascot that will need to be created and added into the logo with the domain name (including the .org.uk in a smaller font) also added into the design.

The finished logo must come with:

• Layered PSD
• .JPG
• .PNG

Thanks for the effort but i would like to see something a little less cartoon and a little closer to the pencil drawing, so more defined than yours at the moment.

Please note that the design shows the poker player wearing a cap which is slightly tilted behind the cards, i know the drawing is a little hard to make out and i'm sorry for that.

I would be open to a little playing about with the poker chips, maybe give me a concept with coins or something as well as the site is offering poker bonus codes that generate free money, that sort of thing is encouraged.

Also a couple of other things to note:

Player is holding 2 cards, ideally you can make these into two Aces.
Player has an outline of a watch on his wrist, wonder if you could make it look big and expensive like the Jacob&co watches?
Player shirt could maybe have a PBC form of logo on it on the open view chest side (think a little like the Full Tilt Poker in the triangle logo in google)?
Font should be displayed at the side of the player in a straight line with the .org.uk placed either below or above the main site name.

The mascot will be the face of the site and i want to make him the focal point so anything that you think would make him the kind of player the visitor would want to be could be discussed.

 

Now that's what your first post should have read like lol I've spent ages on my design so i'm out, but good luck to everyone who enters.

A very nice attempt but the face is a little over developed, as you can see in the original drawing the face is a little softer and if you could remove the facial hair as i would like the mascot to be more clean faced.

Could i also ask you to break the colour of the text up a little, possibly using two shades of blue where 'poker' and 'codes' are the same shade with a lighter shade used on 'bonus' (the www. and .org.uk would be the same colour as the 'bonus' wording)

If you could possibly look at breaking up the chest area of the shirt a little bit with a small area that is made to look like the Full Tilt Poker logo but with PBC lettering or some interpretation of that.

A very nice effort so far and with the alterations i think that you could well be a contender.

I have had a few messages from designers that are also entering the competition so i will allow some more time to see if someone can create the exact image i have in my mind but will not be leaving this open passed a further 48 hours unless a designer can give me good reason to.

here's a sketch and font suggestion to start off...

 

Great effort here l3fty and a little closer to what i want to achieve overall, the mascot is well done from the image that i have given you (guessing the little bits that are missing will be added into the final design?) and the 'PokerBonusCodes' aspect looks okay at the moment but i would like the extension (which is .org.uk) to be made into a smaller text and then placed in-line with the 'ES' at the right hand side on the line below.

The mascot is an impressive start as it is now but the colouring of the character will be vital. If you could add in the poker chips for me and possibly create a small chest logo (think like a designer logo on your polo shirt) with a play on the image below:



The logo from there should remove the 'TILT' and instead be PBC please.

Sorry for the delay on feedback for this one.

Anyway, the design is still a little too 'cartoony' for what i am looking for and the entry by L3fty is much closer to the look that i am looking to have on the site.

I would also like the mascot to the left of the text and a change of font is needed i think.

Update: I have been informed that L3fty has been swamped with work recently but is working on a further submission so again i will be continuing to hold this contest open in order to ensure that i can get the look that i am looking for.
