    One of the most probable reasons for drop down could be that content is not updated.Google page ranking algorithm drops the page having stale content.
    Google needs good quality content.Another reason could be practising of some unacceptable/Black hat SEO technique or the main sites giving your backlinks has been removed or effected.

    it happens all the time, ranking is not fix you should be consistent in your SEO to prevent that.

    There might be really thousands of reasons for this. If I were you I would ask myself: how I could essentially reach the top of SERP? If any technique I used to apply was affected like content quality, regular update, link building, responses, bookmarking and re-shares. It really depends on you. Measure everything about your website and you should find several factors that changed over time.

    one of the common reason is that the page is losing its backlinks from high pr website...

    Yes I agree, that's the usual reason why PR drops, if you lose the backlinks that generated that PR then you will lose it eventually.

    i agree with you guyz. if you lose the backlinks then you pagerank will be down for sure. and if my guess is correct your close competitors gaining more backlinks than yours (this is also the reason why the pagerank is down). Google algorithms are very powerful and upgrading its methods all the time to maintain the quality of search results.

    I think the reason why is your site's Google page ranking was dropped is because of the foundation of your backlinks in different sites with pr rankings. Try to regularly update your content for the sake of search engine and for the benefits of the users.

    Page rank dropped when Google start tracking your online reputation and your connection with other sites. One more big reason BLACK HAT SEO, this SEO gives you instant results but later on, it will hurt your website reputation. So to do thing very naturally, posting, submitting, commenting, do this stuff very naturally and genuinely.

    PageRank drop due to non-stability of backlink to your site. If your site backlink goes down then your pagerank will also goes down.
