Give good value content away for free by letting people opt in in order to get the information. Thats how you will grow your list. Furthermore you could buy solo ads or do adswips.
Every market is different, but in my experience the best way to build a list is to give away free high-value content in exchange for their email address. With your market, you probably already have good content on your website for them to read... you can add an opt-in form that offers them a report that teaches them some advanced secret about writing web content that you "can't post online" or something like that. Get them to sign up, deliver that report to them, and then keep the relationship going!

Hi Celine, Try implementing a subscription form on the right place in your website. According to my experience, bottom of the website (footer) is the right place to place the subscription form. Not only the bottom, but do experiment in different places of your website (homepage and other pages).
If you invest some time to search and read around this forum, you will be able to find many members sharing different methods of attracting traffic back to your website. For me personally, I feel that it will be more practical to stay FOCUS on mastering one traffic generation method at a time. In order to get quality traffic, you will have to either invest your time or money. Different method will require different amount of work or money before it will be effective. I think the most practical thing to do is to decide on the amount of time and money that you are willing to commit into your marketing campaign. Once that is decided, it will be easier for you to choose a traffic generation method that is suitable for you. Even when the traffic flow start to remain constant, I feel that the next thing to do is to test different component of the squeeze page so that you can tweak it till you can the best converting squeeze page.
