Hello All, I have couple of questions regarding LINK WHEEL to you people- 1. Does this work? 2. Is it a good and permanent solution of getting back links? 3. Is it necessary to have same theme on the tier 2, tier 2 and main site?( Like if my main site is themed on teeth whitening then all the web 2.0 properties needs to be on teeth whitening or I can use any theme until and unless they are under my supervision). 4. As per example if I create link wheel using blogger, squidoo, hub,webs ezine,articlebase,wordpress and so on then these sites in fact web 2.0 properties will not have any PR at the beginning. Then what to do? I have to improve these spokes first, then original sites? 5. Need I to use original contents or spun content up to 40-50% uniqueness? 6. When this works well, in for micro niche blog or multiple niche blogs? 7. If I go on increasing the tiers then they serve better or not? If you have the answers please let me know. Thanks
From what i know, preferably your web 2.0 is theme related. And with unique spun article on each web 2.0, the link on the article will be counted as 1. If you are using the same article, it will be considered duplicate content and only 1 of the links will be considered.
Using web 2.0 connecting to each other and all these web 2.0 are all pointing towards to your site. I think google didn't like link wheel because google find it manipulating the sites PR.

I understand the basic thing from all of you. It works but Google does not like it. Instead of duplicate or spun content I must use fresh content to make them indexed.
I generally can't be bothered with link wheels. The results don't outweigh the risks and it takes a while putting it all together
Is it better to post content in hubs or lens and a link back to site? Or ezine articles, articlebase and go articles serves better than the first two. Thanks
