How many websites one person can possibly handle?

I know that it all depends on websites, still how many websites, or how much traffic one person can handle without jeopardizing his online business?
I hear one guy had 100 adsense sites and it took him 15 hours a day 7 days a week to maintain it

 

It all depends upon you I guess. Time you want to dedicate to your websites.
As its tough for few to maintain even one website while others manage more than 20 sites alone.
But once you grow up, I mean start more sites... You could easily hire people to do the things for you.

 

Definetly agree with @Digital_shubhi it depends on you and the sites you are running. If they require new content on regular basis it will include plenty of work but if they are ranking good and don't need any new content things are easier. Also if you are outsourcing work this will enable you to run more but this also means your sites will have to earn more money.

I think the best idea is to only start one page at a time and get it running, then you can outsource soem work and focus on another one

 

Yep it depends on how much maintenance the websites require , fresh content always helps but at a certain point you will need to hire some help . 100 websites is doable , i know someone that maintain @300 websites almost all medium sized (~200 uniques per day) and a few large ones (over ~1000 uniques per day) . So your question has only one true answer as many as you can , so the number can be 1 or 5000 , it's up to you .

 

It all depends at the moment i can handle one site, need my full dedication on my current forum as its still in a baby stage.

 

It depends on the upkeep of the website. if it only requires 1 week updates, then a lot can be done.

 

If all the sites requires content update of content, this will be like a 9-5 job, however if it requires minimal amount of work, 4 times a week.

Depends on how much you can automate. I know some who can barely handle 5 sites, and others who have great automation and can handle upwards of 50 at a time.

 

Depends on the time you are going to spend working on it. At first, it may be tough to maintain a couple of sites but others do have 10 or more sites later on.

 

It depend on person that how many he can handle sites...

 

As I already wrote in another thread, I know one person who run more than 30 websites. It is extremely difficult. Although, someone here wrote that he has a few hundred websites. But I find it hard to believe it. After all, there is a time-tested and well-known rule: 7 +/ - 2. It means that the average person can effectively keep under control from 5 to 9 goals. I repeat - effectively, but not anyhow. So make a conclusion.

 

It's all depends on how much you can operated or controlled. I know some who can barely handle 10 sites, and others who have great automation and can handle 50 sites at a time.

Well i gess 8 to 10 websites are enough, if you want quality work to be done, that guy working on 100 websites has tons of loads.

 

Depends entirely on what your websites offer. If you provide a service to your users, it's likely to be fairly time consuming and you may only be able to handle one or two large projects. If you're business model is internet marketing however, and you aim to generate the majority of your revenue through adverts and CPA offers, it's not beyond the realms of possibility to have well in excess of 100 websites in your portfolio.
