    Most, but not all, businesses need a website.

    Joe's corner hamburger joint probably does not need one. Like how many new customers will it generate for him? Not many. Reader boards at street corner traffic lights will probably generate more business than the internet would.

    Its not necessary.There are lots of small town where internet connection is not available so how can you sale there.It depends on product/service & where you niche market.

    yeah every business needs a a site now a days as internet promotion is the first key value to enhance business across the world .How people from outside your country come to know about your services?Its by your website and proper SEO that makes your site visible and accessible by lots of users around the world and this way business enhances

    I agree with this. A lot of websites will deffinitely help to promote a business, but if your some local hamburger joint or something, this is just money well wasted. Local advertising will be a better investment than a website
