What is best to build a website - Wordpress.com or Wordpress.org or another

    For someone on the artistic/creative side would it be easier/better overall to use Wordpress.com : get a webhost & install Wordpress.org on it or to use the webhosts building software ?
    This question I ask for my niece who is a relative beginner at building websites.

    Wordpress is VERY powerful and widely used across a huge amount of blogs. It lets you install addons and customize your site and manage it very well through an admin panel. Everything is contained in templates so you can edit the HTML very easily.

    Wordpress is great, there's a lot of templates and themes that you can easily install, also there are widgets, plugins, comments, and so much more... its really easy and innovative...

    Usually the generic page building software on web hosts will generate some pretty dull-looking sites.

    Wordpress on the other hand is the most popular open source CMS out there. It can be used to create some great sites. The templates available and community support around it is almost overwhelming. There are even meetup groups for it. It's surely a great platform for an artist to showcase their work.

    Wordpress is a best option. You can get a web hosting package that suits the best for your needs and install the wordpress software in it. Wordpress.com would be the best with premium features than wordpress.org

    If you can afford a domain and hosting then definitely go for your own blog, by using Wordpress.ORG software.
    More freedom, no limitations!

    Wordpress CMS is better than other CMS Scripts. It have more tools for seo and easy handling. use wordpress latest version

    there are some content management systems where you can build a web portal/blogs easily. few of the best such CMS are wordpress, drupal, zoomla, blogger etc. If you have a web hosting account with PHP then go ahead with wordpress or else go with any hosted cms solultion like blogger.
