    I just noticed I have a lot of direct traffic to few of my sites today and yesterday .( Jan 7 - 8 )

    should I be worry about it ? I mean could this be some sort of attack ?

    Well make sure that your referral and search traffic is still healthy. Otherwise, you should be fine. More direct traffic could mean word of mouth referrals, returning visitors, bookmarked visitors.

    Be happy. If you're still worried about it then check what entrance pages are most popular.

    That doesn't sound like a bad thing for your site, investigate what kind of traffic it is, there are issues that only bot visits makes a site traffic increase. If they are organic traffic, that's very positive for you.

    More traffic is better than less traffic. depends on google indexing to, sometimes your website may change therefore increase trraffic

    Probably, you have promoted your website in a good way which is why people are actually landing on your website using your domain name.

    If the traffic is targeted and beneficial for the website, you should be happy.

    Make sure, this traffic is not increasing your bounce rate along with killing your bandwidth.

    One of my friend also noticed to his site that the direct traffic to his site increased but good thing is that its an organic traffic because of the backlinks that he built.
