Wesite rank dropped on one Key word..

Hi,

Dear all experts, need guide line for 1 quarry,

I am targeting 5 key words for a site, I observe that in 1 key word my web site give me rank on 2nd page of google and after 1 month on the same key word it was dropped on 4th page and now from last 1 week I can't see my web site even in 20th page on same key word, make note - on other key words my web site rank on google top 10 sites,, so like to know what is the reason behind that? and If i want then how can i get it back.....

 

There may be the competition is too high. You can check the competition on Google Adword keyword research tool.

 

You should re-view your link building strategy and also try to do ethical way and white hat seo techniques for your link building and seo campaign, maybe you did some wrong things that's way your website vanished.

May be your listing with that particular keyword marked as spam you have to check all your listing that they are not spammed.. It will definitely help you!

@ Johnsander - I am doing manual submission and book marking , I think I am using genuine seo techniques.... can you please tell me exactly what is White het SEO?

 

1st of all its White HAT , not het.......! white hat Seo means optimizing your keyword in ethical way by following google guidlines

 

@ gcswebs - Thanks ..... But as I am doing manual directory submission as per google guidlines, but I am confused bcoz, my web site ranks is dropped on only 1 key word, all other key words performing well, so it is possible that on one key word it will be spammed or like that.....

 

May be that keyword is highly competitive, also try to analyze from which sites you have got backlinks? It may be possible that for other keywords you have got backlinks from high-quality sites, and for that keyword, backlinks are not of good quality. Try checking that.

Well being not an expert in SEO but having quality expiriance in this field... let me tell you.... i have not heared before that a single keyword got penalized or spam, In my opinion try to build quality links for the desired keyword or wait for some time, coz google can fluctuate its algo.
i would tell you more clearly if you provide me a exact keyword and URL

@ gcswebs - My web site URL is thedreamridersgroup.com and I am targeting key words - Adventure tours India, Leh Ladakh Bike Trip, Royal Enfield bike trip, Before 2 months in adventure tours India key word get rank 2nd page in google.com and 4th page in google.in , after 1 month means before 1 month rank was dropped 4th page on google.com and 8th page in google.in, now from last week Even I can't see the same in 20th page as well...... it gets very good ranking in ladakh bike trip -2012, leh ladakh bike trip, ladakh bike tours, etc.... Thanks for replying me......

 

i have checked your domain, its in wordpress thats good thing, and all that i can say that your ON page is not as good as should be.
do some changes in on page like make H1 tag as "adventure tours India" in place of "latest updates"
and put some useful keywords in H2 tag. and put your "adventure tours India" keyword in alt tag of header image ...
and wait for 2 or 3 days, the next cache would be beneficail for you....

You can build more back links.

 

If your rank is dropping for certain keywords, it does not mean you have done something wrong or you are penalized.
Lot of thing depends upon the competitiveness of the keywords and your competitors’ SEO strategies. If they are working harder than you, they will take you over easily.

 

@ Sharon Martin - Ya I can understand the same but my web site rank is dropped from 4t page to 29th page...... on one key word
