Hi, I am using open cart and have an option to add a google site map. I am only 2 months into web designing with no training or previous experience. Could anyone be patient enough to talk me through it. Thanks in Advance

Go to google.com/webmasters/tools/ and add the site. Then, open up the site in google webmaster tools and go to the sitemaps section and add the sitemap URL. Alternatively, add "Sitemap: [sitemap url here]" to a robots.txt file in the root of your server.

Hi...use Google to find one of the many xml sitemap generators, put in the URL to your site and then generate your xml sitemap file (sitemap.xml) then upload this file into the root of your website via FTP then add the link to the file in Google webmaster account and also into OpenCart. Good luck.

Best solution for this will be creating a site map and adding it to webmaster tools.
