Getting rid of annoying gap in the border? Please advise.

    I've just finish the first version of my new article directory using a word press script. The problem is I get an annoying gap just above the tabs and below the header - any advice on how I can get rid of it? Also I would like to space the Home, Author and other tabs out further - any advice on the code to do that?

    delve into the CSS files for your theme and it will be in there.
    If you are using windows use firefox and then download firebug you can alter the CSS and HTML using Firebug and see how it affects the site in realtime.
