registering company in USA is very easy. It doesn't matter whether it operates online business or offline. If you are non-resident, you should pay 10% income tax from profit taken out from company (in Delaware state).

Corporate law system and tax too vary from state to state

If you really want to open a branch of your existing business, then the publication that browntwn linked to answers your questions. However, you should be aware under U.S. tax law and international tax treaties, there can be a significant difference between a U.S. branch and a U.S. subsidiary. While it is difficult to generalize, in many cases it is better to create a new U.S.-based entity. You should thoroughly understand the difference before you make a decision on branch vs. subsidiary.

If you want to create a company in the U.S. you can just be a sole proprietorship, which you don't really have to do much, just contact your secretary of state (or go to their website) and file as a sole proprietorship. Alternatively you can get yourself some protection (legal protection) by filing as an LLC or a corporation, also through your secretary of state office

I should also mention that there are a ton of places online that will help you file for your business but it costs $$$. legalzoom.com is one example, search around
