What are the main reasons for sudden drop in keywords ranking in google?

My keyword was in 3rd position and suddenly the keyword ranking dropped from 3rd to 48th position in Google search results. Plz suggest me the reasons behind it.

 

Without having any specific information, we can't really give you an accurate reason.

At best we can suggest the common reasons, such as poor content, bad linking, or something like Malware or bad scripting on your site.

 

Its not related to poor content and bad linking as i have checked. could you plz tell me about Malware problems?

As per the given link, i have checked and my site is not hacked by hackers or infected by Malwares. Site has been verified in Google webmaster tools. If u know some other reasons then plz suggest me.

 

Some other suggestions are:

- No new relevant content recently (not likely given that your drop was so big)
- Google had given you a bigger boost than it should have after you did some backlinking and now it is correcting (not likely if you had held your ranking for more than a couple months)
- Some of the pages linking to you lost their own ranking (typically happens following an algorithm update by Google)

Now I went to the site in your signature. I don't know if it is the site you are talking about, but here are a few things that I see problems with on it.

- Domain expires soon (Google sometimes will downgrade a site that has a domain expiring soon), suggest renewing it right away as it can't hurt if you plan on keeping the site and may help
- No permanent redirect found (www.q3tech.com and q3tech.com can be treated as two separate sites by Google, giving you a duplicate content penalty), strongly suggest fixing this right away as it is a big problem **This specifically could be why you saw a sudden and large drop, if that is the site you are having the problem with

 

may be that the high pr backlinks pointing to your websites were deleted by the website owner or may be you added a content that was duplicate or may be you put much advertising links on your website.
In order to recover from this just keep updating your website and build some quality links to it.

I was doing SEO for one of my site i.e. binaryoptions.org for following keywords
Currency options
Forex options
Binary option

All these keyword ranking was in top 10 since 3 month but about 15 days before suddenly fall down and till now could not recover.I have analysed lot but could not get the actual reason
So kindly suggest me some thing to recover the original ranking

Could you please give some idea about quality link building by some example
Here I am generally doing Dir submission , Book marking , Article posting and blog posting
But some directory and bookmarking sites are deleted our link after many days
So kindly hints on this which type of site we should prefer where will be no chance of link deletion.

I checked the keywords are these are ranking in top 10 in Google. There may be a temporary fluctuation in Google ranking. Now ats ranking fine..

But I want to actual reason why some time suddenly ranking is down and after some day again coming to its original position ?

 

Maybe you can try harder or Strong SEO.

Maybe also your competetion really have Strong SEO than your site.

 

I think so but I have not tried hard.You know i had stopped my work for this site since 4 days after ranking down and today its good in rank.

 

You know, I had the same issue when I was optimizing one of my websites and it suddenly made a drastic step back. I think it was the maintenance factor, remember, we have competitors who want to be on top and so keeping the links updated is essential. Will resume shortly, but on vacation leave .

When Google update itself then sometimes it happens with certain downfall in keywords.

 

Relevancy matters alot. If you have not posted your backlinks at relevant sites then there is always a chance to get such positions. Improve the content and see if it works.
