Did the host tell you the exact reason for suspending your account?

Is it because of the bandwidth or some other reason like server load?

You have used only 8 GB bandwidth.

Sites consuming 80 GB bandwidth can also be run on shared hosting, provided they don't consume excessive resources.

I guess the real issue is that your site is needs more CPU/RAM.

Can you tell us your current host and the plan that you are using.

as sachin said it should be not a problem in general but this depends on the server your host is running. Maybe you should think about either changing the host. No matter if you are going for a vPS or not as this suspension sounds like overselling for me as the only offer a low number of ressources.

You better move to VPS or dedicated server, they're cheap nowdays, sometimes cheaper than shared hosting

No, it will not use the server CPU/RAM for embedding Youtube videos. You might want to ask them to give you a proper report?

Several of my clients have multimedia content on their websites.
The best practice is to store the media on a site designed for it (like youtube) and make sure your programming is setup to just display the external content instead of retrieving it and then delivering it to the end user.
I've seen sites that were done wrong and the bandwidth can get ridiculous.

A very popular New England band released their entire first album on their site. They did it wrong and the bandwidth was over 50GB the first day the posted it on FaceBook.
I fixed it that night and the bandwidth went down to about 70mb per day while the downloads skyrocketed.

Normally ,you are required to consume up to about 25% of your overall CPU usage.
You will be suspended if you over use this.
VPS is almost same as dedicated server but with just limited resources.
I would advise you move to dedicated server if you have the needed funding.
