Hi Experts, One quick question.. Does it matter if I upload the same content on multiple sites if the content does not belong to my site? Does that back link worth for SEO?
You should be using only unique content. Each time you put new content up, it should be new AND unique! You are only hurting yourself and the site you are posting your duplicated content on.
This is just waste of time. It's better to have 1 article which is original than have 100 duplicates around the web.
I found these past threads, however it seems the discussion (suggestion or idea) is obsolete today. What you say? http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=24227 http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=910449
It is much better if you will have your own unique articles to submit. It will not be very successful if its not your work.
Using the same content for different sites is not a good idea. Duplicate content is never appreciated by Google so you're better to get off this.
Don't just speculate, support what you say with adequate proofs. Otherwise this discussion will lead to nothing.
It won't be worth ! and why same content? Duplicate content having no value for search engine. Search engine always hungry for fresh new high quality content. Don't post duplicate content, Post few but high quality content with full relevancy.
Yeah you do not want to use the same content on multiple sites because of the duplicate content issue. However, you can use the content if you site the source clearly and make sure that visitors that read that article get directed to the original article. I heard Matt Cutts from Google say this in one of his videos not to long ago.
One of our websites had many pages that were considered duplicate content because it was a real estate website. Because there are so many real estate listing tools that pull the same data feed, the same information was being displayed on every website in our market. Even though our site out ranks for many key terms in the area, we were still penalized for duplicate content in Google and lost about 10,000 indexed pages because of it.
LoL - yeah it's just pure speculation and there's no firm evidence to suggest that copying another sites data is unethical or an illegal practice... haha. Go for it dude - it's your sites funeral and not ours... Oh and for reference here's this thread: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2368413 - while we have one guy complaining that his site content has been copied and here we have another guy asking if it's an OK practice - then we have the guy above saying "support what you say with adequate proofs"... Then there's the issue of "Otherwise this discussion will lead to nothing" - well in my experience here - a miserly 20% will read the posts above them - no matter what.
Enough said on that, I was going to agree that is a big No-No for various reasons, but you seem to have your mind made up and plenty arguments against it.
