    Oh yes bookmarking is really effective for seo to make good links because bookmarking sites have good Pr and some have good Alexa rank that which is considerable for google.

    it is very effective for indexing and SERP

    I always submit my content urls to digg for fast indexing. The content always get indexed within 24 hours window time. Some even indexed within 1 hour.

    Google loves bookmark backlinks so it also good to improve your website SERP position.

    It is effective but you have to ensure that you have different types of backlinks, so it will look unnatural if you ONLY have bookmarking backlinks. Make sure you also have directory entries, article directory links, blog comments, homepage backlinks etc.

    There are so many bookmarking sites which are banned by google. So you have to careful when submitting your site in bookmarking. Only select site with High PR for good rankings or at least with PR0.

    yes i agree. book marking sites do help us get backlinks, but they are not of that much value in comparison to normal text links from within content.. moreover, some speak of traffic from bookmarking sites.. but frankly asking, does anyone really visit a bookmarking site to read stuff? i guess no.. most people like me will visit there, submit our links and we go away.. we hardly read others' stuff.. hence, the traffic to your site, if at all, will remain short lived and will not be quality one..
