There’s two ways to look at this. (1) If you’re backlink strategy is to have your prospective customer click on the link and take them from your competitor’s page to yours then GO FOR IT! (2) If you’re backlink strategy is to increase your SERP (Search Engine Results Page) ratings... then you have to consider the normal things like: PR (Page Rank) of your competitor’s site; Does your competitor’s site have many other links?; Will your link appear in the content of their pages and not in the headers, footers, sidebars, etc.; Is it relevant to your site (If it is a competitor then it’s likely that it will be relevant) SUMMARY: I would only spend the time backlinking on a competitors site if they allowed me to and if they had a good page rank.
Hi. You can put your link to high PR sites or competitor sites, that will help you to increase your ranking too.
Hi, It's definitely worthy and it depends what kind of competitors you analyze. Some of them may use Ad's to become popular, you can't really analyze them. Analyze a competitor who really came up in that business using Organic SEO techniques. You can get a clear idea of What kind of sites they are targeting What type of promotions they are doing
hi yes its is , by doing this you always know where you wanna reach and how much work you need to reach at your goal.
you Can add your Links In high Pr Sites but relevant sites.which is very useful of your keywords ranking and beat competitors.
Yes it is worth able. You can get to know from where their site is getting links. You can also post to those sites to get more good result.
Yes it worthy for your website you come to know what scenario your competitors are following in terms of main categories, what they are offering, channels they are using, SEO activities they are following and many more! Best Of Luck!
As is the policy of the search engines that they decide your sites relevance through the backlinks gained, they are very worth deciding it..!!
worthable?? You meant worth it right?? Yes competitive analysis is really worth your time and efforts. You get to know the places your competitor has placed links on and hence you can also place your links there..Plus it will also give you an insight on how your competitor is actually working and what's her strategy..
It's definitely worth investigating, but it's hard to do much with the info. If your competitor has a link from site x, then maybe you can also get a link, but realistically..... It's going to be hard.
It's good to analyze your competitors.. You can possibly find some answers on why they're probably doing better than you (guessing you're not at #1). But of course, it's one thing to analyze and another to actually implement a plan
In that way you can go ahead with what they are doing or simply copy and build links also in those sites that adds credits to their site.
Hi Friends, I have a question, Please give your opinion about it. Like if you have a backlink from a PR 4 .com and one form a PR 4 .edu. Which is better?
To me backlink analysis is similar to looking into someone else's Bedroom from my window. Instead of following a competitor, I prefer a rocksolid promotion strategy for my site. (it's my personal view, not professional )
